Javier Macia is a photographer, editor and videographer with more than 10 years of professional experience. He has undertaken projects such as photo shoots, corporate videos, culinary, fashion, or interior photography, e-commerce visuals, portraits for professional profiles, as well as video production and editing.

In his professional beginnings in 2008 and after graduating as a sound engineer, he ventured into the world of digital editing and dvd authoring for the distribution of feature films and documentaries for several national distributors such as Savor, Emon and Planeta. Through this experience he acquired notions of photo retouching, editing and video compression for broadcasting. As a marketing content creator, this versatile freelancer knows how to respond to the demands of companies. He knows the production processes, as well as the optimisation of audiovisuals for the internet and new formats in social networks.

In Barcelona he has worked as a teacher, producer and content creator, carrying out events and brand productions in the most important congress halls, (fira, selenta group). He has made advertising campaigns for brands such as keeponfresh (official sponsor of the Spanish national football team), in the 2018 Olympic World Cup in Russia and in the local municipal elections in 2019.

He has recently put a focus on photography and the production of music videos and commercials for companies and startups in different sectors such as the pharmaceutical industry, fashion or the technology sectors.

Javier Macia has been gaining experience since the first versions of Final Cut, Photoshop, Lightroom, Protools or Premiere, although he loves staying up to date with the latest editing software, such as Affinity or Capture One. He currently works with a DaVinci Resolve system because of its flexibility and capabilities in colourimetry. When it comes to cameras, this professional has the best models and optics to offer the best results to his clients.
